Description

Bubbles of air propel multi-coloured balls to the top of the tube.

They float gently down again to start their journey once more.

Bubble tubes provide a multi-sensory experience, offering audible, tactile, temperature and visual sensory input for individuals of all ages.

They provide a focal feature and 8 colour lighting source for a room that can be a calming, relaxing ambiance.

Bubble tubes are used as a complimentary focal tool for sensory regulatory activities or used interactively with encouraging visual tracking, colour recognition, physical movement (reaching, looking up) and hand-eye co-ordination.

The smooth surface and cooler temperature of the tube provides temperature and tactile contrast with seating fabric.

Use of mirror panels can provide further sensory input, creating the illusion of four bubble tubes. Mirrors can also be used in various fun and therapeutic ways including raising awareness of the body, self-esteem etc.

Users have choice and control of sensory stimuli level which could potentially aid assessment of preferences/likes/dislikes, assist with teaching and learning skills (cause and effect with a switch box).

Always use under close supervision.
