A simple to administer social-emotional assessment scale. Establishes progress in children and adults with a developmental age ranging from 0-14 years. Test results deliver crucial information to support ongoing positive growth and development. Effective for children with normal development or intellectual disabilities and also appropriate for adults who have intellectual disabilities or delayed development. SEDAL measures and calculates a developmental age for Social and Emotional Domains separately and globally. Social Domain measures: initiating contact, social independence, moral development, impulse control, self-awareness, social assessment skills. Emotional Domain measures: self-image, emotional independence, sense of reality, moral development, regulation of emotions and fears.
