Football has long been enjoyed by millions across the globe, and as a business focused on inclusion and accessibility, Rompa® supports the ambition that no-one should be excluded.
Whether on the big international stage with the FIFA World Cup™ or close to home at Notts County Football Club, Rompa® has always been involved in the world of football, ensuring that all fans of the beautiful game across the globe can enjoy every moment.
In a bid to support football fans and help create the most accessible World Cup to date, Rompa® specially designed, manufactured and supplied five sensory rooms to stadia and fan zones surrounding Doha.
Utilising Rompa® and Snoezelen® products, manufactured in the heart of the Midlands, the team provided world-class sensory solutions to a world-class sport, supporting the way in which football teams & stadia are moving forwards to be wholly inclusive for its fans.
Three sensory rooms were supplied at three of the World Cup venues to offer a safe space for people with disabilities or sensory processing needs to view the games from:

These rooms are an exciting mixture of soft play & interactive multi-sensory environments, with products included such as:
The Colour Wall Controller, Wirefree Colour Control Bumpas, Deluxe 8 Button Wirefree Controller and Curved Fibre Optic Comb, Maxi Bubble Tube, Laser Sky Projector, and Musical Abstract Tactile Panel which provide fantastic multi-sensory stimulation, accompanied with an opportunity for children to experience soft play whilst at the stadium which includes the Kopjie Wedge, Roly Poly Logs and the Giants Causeway!
Users can also explore and interact through different multi-sensory activities with our Interactive Floor Projection and the Rompa® Panels such as the Multifinity Explorer™ and Fireworks Extravaganza™.
Also included is our UV Abstract Tactile Panel with a Blacklight, and UV Carpet Mat. These products are visually appealing especially in darkened environments due to their glow-in-the-dark properties!
