At the helm
Donna Hartley - Managing Director
Donna is our MD and brings a wealth of experience to the table having previously worked in sales, telemarketing, debt recovery, marketing, warehousing, manufacturing and HR. Donna's broad skill set is matched only by her people skills and "can do" attitude, nothing deters her.
Interesting fact: Donna is a bit like the bionic woman, having had 12 metal plates put in her leg following an accident in 2013. Airport security is a nightmare!
Graham Corps - IT Director
Graham is ROMPA's long-serving IT Director and has recently steered the team through the implementation of our new ERP system, and a major upgrade to our catalogue content & publishing database system.
Interesting fact: Graham's love of Manchester City football team is matched only by his love of the band Queen.
Emma Kettlewood - Financial Director
Emma is Rompa’s Financial Director and is responsible for keeping her eagle eye on the company finances. Outside work Emma can be found dancing (Ballroom & Latina) or watching motor racing.
Interesting fact: Emma built a car with her husband and drove it all the way to Italy.

Rompa have a team of people who are often out and about at trade shows and conferences looking to connect with companies and individuals who share our values. These are the people you're likely to meet.
Mark Johns - Commercial Manager
Mark is Rompa’s Commercial Manager. When he is not busy chasing new opportunities you will find him walking in the Peak District or fishing in local rivers.
Interesting fact: Many years ago Mark held the Derbyshire under 15 javelin record. How things have changed.
Amy Coghlan - Marketing and Design Services Manager
Amy is responsible for managing, developing and implementing Rompa’s traditional and digital marketing initiatives. When she is not at work you will find her pampering her pooch, Teddy.
Interesting fact: Amy has moved house 13 times!
Peter Martin - International Accounts Manager
Peter is responsible for managing and developing ROMPAS global network of International Partners. Peter has a passion for outdoor adventure and is the proud father of a newborn baby girl.
Interesting fact: Peter was once chased by a shark whilst spearfishing in Fiji.
Chris Cannon - National Sales Executive
Chris is our National Sales Executive and has over 20 years’ experience working in the education sector and will be seen driving all over the country visiting customers from Schools to Adult Care. In his spare time Chris is either working on his Mk1 Golf Gti or will be at the gym, although he Thai boxed for 20 years he admits he’s too old for that now and just tries to keep fit.
Interesting fact: Chris once turned an old Volvo into a Mexican and drove it along with 200 other dressed cars from Blackpool to Benidorm for charity.
Behind the scenes
Here are some of the important people you might encounter should you call or visit the Rompa offices. They keep the wheels turning when the rest of us are out and about.
Wendy Wright - Office Manager
Wendy is the oil that ensures the Rompa office runs like a finely tuned engine. When she's not demonstrating her organisational prowess, Wendy can often be found riding around the Peak District on the back of a motorcycle.
Interesting fact: Wendy makes her own range of greetings cards which she donates to local charities.
Lee Charnock – Operations Manager
Lee is responsible for overseeing the production of the components for our sensory rooms. He also has to work out if some of the more unusual imaginings of the design team can be made. He has a team of highly skilled individuals to help him produce everything from soft play wall and floor cushions to vibrating furniture.
Interesting fact: Lee came 3rd in a Mr Minorca 2016 competition but it was probably rigged because he should have won.
Wendy Johns – Deputy Production Manager
Wendy is responsible for the day to day running of our furniture and softplay production facility. When she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her family.
Interesting fact: Wendy has a penchant for fruit pastilles.
Hannah Tomes - Production Administrator
Hannah takes care of the paperwork moving through the production department and liaises with colleagues and suppliers to ensure we have everything we need to do a fantastic job. She has 3 cats which makes her the "crazy cat lady" of the production office.
Interesting fact: Hannah's partner proposed to her whilst hanging the washing out. She genuinely thought he’d fallen over when he got on one knee.
Lisa Wright - PA to MD and HR Manager
Lisa is Donna's PA and supports the other directors and staff with HR and health and safety matters. Outside work Lisa divides her time between family, friends and the gym. She is also an avid snooker watcher.
Interesting fact: Lisa's partner proposed to her on live TV at a snooker match at The Crucible.
Lenka Pisova - Assistant Buyer
Lenka assists Senior Buyer in gathering new product information, liaising with suppliers and keeps the ERP system updated with correct product information. When not at work Lenka enjoys walking in the Peak District and travelling.
Interesting fact: Lenka ran 3 half marathons for Cancer Research and is a qualified Pilates instructor.
Gwenyth Moore - Sales Administrator
Gwenyth is a very experienced member of our the Sales Team and is always happy to help. When not in work mode Gwenyth is either getting her nails done, shopping or riding her bike.
Interesting fact: One of Gwenyth's achievements was a ride in a hot air balloon over the Lake District – very brave.
Lisa Kirkwood - Sales Administrator
Lisa manages customer queries by telephone and email, processes orders and handles returns. When she's not doing all that, she's either having her nails done or watching her beloved Chesterfield FC.
Interesting fact: In her youth Lisa met her favourite band at the time - Rootjoose.
Erika Bytheway - Sales Administrator
Erika is the International Sales Administrator and processes any orders from our International Partners and answers any queries they may have.
Interesting fact: Erika has run 6 Marathons!
Lisa Pezutto - Business Development Co-ordinator
As Business Development Co-ordinator Lisa deals with initial enquiries from customers relating to the installation of a sensory or soft playroom. Lisa's time outside work is focussed mainly on her young son.
Interesting fact: Lisa enjoys a bit of karaoke when on a night out.
Bruno Camacho - Designer
Bruno joined the Rompa design team in 2014 and divides his time between producing sensory room designs, advertising, catalogues and exhibition stands. Outside work Bruno dances Salsa and runs his own evening classes in Nottinghamshire and Derby.
Interesting facts: Bruno danced his way into the first round of Britain's Got Talent in 2010 and is fluent in Spanish.
Sarah Drew - Designer
Sarah joined the design team design team in 2014. When she’s not designing room visuals for customers or working on the catalogues Sarah enjoys baking, creating crafts and spending time with friends.
Interesting fact: Sarah is part of the Roller Derby Team.
Jennifer Beal - Designer
Jenny is the newest of the design team, she joined the design team towards the end of 2019. When not designing she likes to relax in the garden growing vegetables, Knitting and learning to Belly Dance.
Interesting fact: Jenny likes Gardening and has won a McDonald's colouring competition, age 3 and was a knitting teacher for a year.
Matthew Cook - Installation Project Co-Ordinator
As a project co-ordinator, Matthew is responsible for creating quotations, collecting documentation and liaising with customers and colleagues to bring your sensory room designs to reality. When he's not at work he's probable playing guitar or on his bike.
Interesting fact: Matt is a fully trained cocktail bartender.
Amanda Godfrey - Installation Project Co-Ordinator
As a project co-ordinator, Amanda is responsible for creating quotations, collecting documentation and liaising with customers and colleagues to bring your sensory room designs to reality. When she's not at work Amanda can usually be found shopping.
Interesting fact: Amanda came first in a district junior trampolining competition.
Marcus Roome - New Product Developer
Marcus is a New Product Developer, designing all the new and exclusive ROMPA Products along with solving any technical issues that customers may experience. When out of work he enjoys playing tennis along with PlayStation and pc gaming.
Interesting fact: Marcus travelled to South Africa and went into a cage with lions…. They were only cubs though.
Daniel Bull - Accounts Apprentice
Daniel joined ROMPA in 2020 and his role is to assist the Finance Department and work towards his level 3 AAT qualification.
Interesting fact: Daniel loves all things, Disney!
Stuart Ellis - Installations Engineer
After spending 15 years in the manufacturing and assembly department Stuart moved to installations. Stuart's main duties are the installation of sensory, seclusion, and soft playrooms. Stuart also does site surveys before the installation of rooms, servicing and diagnostic visits.
Interesting fact: In 1992 Stuart took part in the coalfields community carol service at Westminster Abbey in support of the coal mining communities.
